Veteran Actress Kim Young Ok’s Husband Passes Away

Veteran actress Kim Young Ok‘s husband, former KBS announcer Kim Young Gil, has passed away.
According to reports on May 17, KST, Kim Young Gil passed on the same day after fighting a prolonged illness. He was 89 years old.
Kim’s funeral is being held at the Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital Funeral Hall, located within the Catholic Education Foundation in Seocho-gu, Seoul. He will be laid to rest at the Donghwa Gyeongmo Park.
Kim Young Ok and Kim Young Gil first met at Chungang University and later worked together at the Chuncheon Broadcasting Station in 1959. They tied the knot in 1960 and have one son and two daughters.
