Veteran Singer And Actress Sunday Leaves SM Entertainment After 20 Years

She spent 20 years in SM Entertainment.

Girl group member turned musical actress Sunday, who was part of SM Entertainment‘s girl group CSJH The Grace, has left the company after 20 years.

According to an exclusive report by Star News, Sunday decided to leave SM Entertainment after her exclusive contract ended in May 2020, and the news was belatedly announced. Since her departure from SM Entertainment, she has kept in touch with her fans through her personal Instagram, which still mentions CSJH The Grace.

SM Entertainment has since confirmed the news that Sunday has left the agency, wishing her well in the future.

Sunday began her path to the idol industry in 2001 after being selected as one of the top trainees in SM Entertainment’s youth auditions. She first debuted as a soloist in 2004 in Japan with the single “Lira No Kataomoi” before joining the lineup of CSJH The Grace in 2005.

In 2012, after years of CSJH The Grace’s being on hiatus, she teamed up with fellow member Dana for the subunit Dana & Sunday, and released a single album.

She married her non-celebrity husband in July 2020.
