Recently, the rookie group had a comeback with the track “D.I.M.M,” but the lyrics instantly sparked major controversy.

At first, it was the reference to former President Joe Biden and a meme created by Donald Trump, which many thought was distasteful, especially the timing of the line, “Asleep in the back, got me feelin’ like Biden,” amid recent health announcements.

Yet, it went further than the single line. An OP on another post shared that throughout the song and the album in general, there were a lot of inappropriate lyrics for a group that has members who are minors. They listed the examples from the different songs and why they felt uncomfortable.

Netizens share their own discomfort but brought up that the reputation of the CEO, who is known as a former SM Entertainment producer, makes it seem as if it was done for the shock value along with the other “problematic” things he has done.
