On May 7, KST, Garo Sero Research Institute held a press conference, releasing damning recordings of an informant’s conversation with the late actress Kim Sae Ron where she was heard stating that actor Kim Soo Hyun had sex with her when she was in middle school.

During the same press conference, Garo Sero also claimed that the informant who possessed this conversation was brutally attacked by two assailants on May 1 in New Jersey.

The recording was made with the consent of the late Kim Sae Ron and the informant. It contained shocking and explicit content. The informant who has the recording was attacked by two assailants from Korea and China on May 1.

The case is being investigated by the FBI and not the New Jersey State Police. The informant will be assessed as disabled, as a large portion of the nerves on their hand were torn. They were also stabbed nine times in the neck.

However, while addressing the new accusations made during this press conference, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency claimed that the pictures of this alleged attack released by Garo Sero were taken from the internet.

Garo Sero’s false claims are unacceptable and difficult to accept even with common sense. The photos revealed as evidence can be found through an internet search. Garo Sero and the informant are claiming that a photo they found online is an assault photo.

In response, Garo Sero released a new video on May 8, KST. In the video, the whistleblower showed the current state of the real injuries on both of his hands. He started by showing the date and time on his phone— May 7, 3:46 pm—to prove that the video was indeed taken recently.

The informant then proceeded to show his right arm, which appeared to have sustained several injuries.

He also showed his left palm, removing the dressing and revealing several wounds underneath it. Though his finger was also injured, the whistleblower mentioned that he couldn’t remove the dressing as it could pose a risk of infection.

He also emphasized that he had not been discharged from the hospital, but had briefly returned home and filmed the video. He added that his intention behind recording the video instead of sending photos was to ensure that Kim Soo Hyun’s side couldn’t label the attack as a fabricated allegation.

Kim Soo Hyun’s representatives have yet to address the video.
