Yewon To Make First TV Comeback Since Last Year’s Massive Controversy

Yewon of the now defunct girl group Jewelry will be making her broadcast comeback since leaving We Got Married last year.

According to agency officials on February 15th, Yewon will return to television as an MC for an upcoming Mnet program. While the program is in itself still in the planning stages, it is said that Yewon is being careful in her return and other show appearances will be determined based on her comeback as an MC.

She was embroiled in a controversy with actress Lee Tae Im in March of last year while they were recording for an episode for an MBC show, Tutoring Across Generations. Despite continuing her regular appearances for We Got Married, which only lasted three and a half months. Additionally, she sent her official apologies regarding the controversy soon after leaving the show.

Yewon has not been seen on broadcast since then.

[+23, -3] CEO you don’t like me right?

[+11, -1] Is it really that hard to find an MC. An MC should be well spoken and have a sense of morality. If you use an MC because of an agency’s influence should the viewers just watch the show? Even if Yoo Jaesuk co MCs with her I’m not watching this.
