Former SM Entertainment Stars To Marry Each Other

Former EXO member and singer Huang Zitao and Chinese singer Xu Yiyang will hold a lavish wedding this October. The couple registered their marriage in December last year. Both of them are formerly from SM Entertainment, with Yiyang training there and Zitao debuting in EXO under the name Tao.

According to ET Today on the 11th (local time), Huang Zitao recently appeared on a variety show and officially announced, “Xu Yiyang and I will hold our wedding this October.” Prior to their marriage announcement, there had been rumors that the two were secretly expecting a child, but both sides denied the claims.

Huang revealed that they have been preparing for the ceremony for six months, planning a “wedding of the century” comparable to those of stars Jay Chou and Huang Xiaoming. Special seating will be arranged for fans, with more than 100 expected to attend in person to offer their congratulations. Sources say they are also discussing the possibility of livestreaming the event so more fans can share in the joy.

Particular attention is on whether former EXO members will attend as guests. Huang is known to remain close friends with former bandmate Luhan. In June, he surprised fans by appearing at Luhan’s concert and performing “Our Tomorrow” together, leading media to speculate that Luhan’s attendance at the wedding is highly likely.
