Yoo Jae Suk Denies Rumors That He Charges an Outrageous Fee to Attend Events

On a recent episode of tvN‘s You Quiz on the Block, Yoo Jae Suk addressed the rumors that he charges 25 million won (~$21,000 USD) to attend an event.

Jo Se Ho started off by congratulating Yoo Jae Suk for winning the Baeksang Arts Award for male variety and brought up the rumors that he costs a hefty amount to hire for events.

They’re saying Yoo Jae Suk costs 25 million won (~$21,000 USD) to hire for events, and one day, a friend even asked, ‘Can I hire Yoo Jae Suk, too?’

Ahead of the rumors, Kim Goo Ra uploaded a YouTube video that claimed to expose all of the event fees charged by stars.

And the video interviewed an informant who claimed that Yoo Jae Suk charged around 25 million won (~$21,000 USD) for events.

Regarding the rumors, Yoo Jae Suk denied the claims and confessed that he doesn’t even know himself how much he costs.

It’s been 20 years since I’ve gone to events. So I don’t even know my own worth, which means those rumors have no grounds.

But Yoo Jae Suk did admit that he receives hefty offers from time to time.

Sometimes, people offer to pay me a lot of money and ask me to host their wedding. But I only do that for people I personally know. I hope there’s no misunderstanding.
