Veteran Actor Lee Soon Jae Exposes Seo Ye Ji’s True Character With a Heartwarming Story

Her real-life personality is very different from the one she portrays in “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.”

In light of Seo Ye Ji‘s skyrocketing popularity following the premiere of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay starring Kim Soo Hyun, a past clip of veteran actor, Lee Soon Jae revealing Seo Ye Ji’s true character has resurfaced in online communities.

So what’s Seo Ye Ji really like?

In a 2014 episode of Grandpas Over Flowers – Spain Special, Lee Soon Jae showed off a Spanish phrasebook that Seo Ye Ji made for him herself.

At the time, Seo Ye Ji confessed,

When I heard that ‘sunbae’ was going to Spain, I wanted to help him. My filming that night finished at 3 in the morning, so I created a phrasebook on A4 paper staring at 4 in the morning.

It was later revealed that Lee Soon Jae was so touched by her gesture that he gifted her with pearl jewelry from Spain in return.
