In the video, Park Seo Joon shared an anecdote from when he first started out as an actor—when beauty standards were a bit different.
My eyes were my biggest insecurity. When I was first starting out, and it was difficult to debut, I received a lot of criticism. At that time, people preferred those with a more distinctive appearance than someone who looked like me. So, I heard comments like, ‘Where did this kid roll in from?’

Yoo Jae Suk chimed in, saying that those comments seemed a bit harsh. However, it didn’t end there. Park Seo Joon said he was even advised to get plastic surgery.
I even received suggestions to get plastic surgery, so my confidence gradually waned. I often thought, ‘Is something wrong with me? Is this not the path for me?’
