Aespa Reveals Why Getting Scouted By SM Entertainment Can Easily Look Like A Scam
Many K-Pop idols from SM Entertainment had spoken about how they thought they were getting scammed when they got scouted.
Recently, the members of aespa spoke about why this might be the case!
Aespa appeared on 1theK‘s IDDP series, and when they were looking at their profile, it said that all the members except for Giselle got scouted and that these 3 members all originally believed that it was a scam!
The members then honestly shared that SM Entertainment scouts really approach like con artists!
They then hilariously said that if someone approaching you feels like a con artist, then they’re probably from SM Entertainment!
Winter then explained that SM Entertainment scouts never say that they’re from SM Entertainment. Even when they call, they don’t say the name of the company.
Due to this, it’s easy for people to get suspicious and think they are getting scammed, which is exactly what happened to most of the aespa members!
