Almost Nip-Slips, Falls, And Unscripted Comedy— All “Embarrassing” Red Carpet Moments At “Blue Dragon Series Awards”

The 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards took place on July 18, KST, at Paradise City Hotel in Incheon. While industry’s best-known faces and rising talents all gathered to celebrate the best of streaming services in Korea, the event’s red carpet was full of unexpected spectacles.

Here are all the “embarrassing” moments that occurred at the event:

The red carpet fall:

Before the main event, hosts Jun Hyun Moo and Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA opened the red carpet. The idol-MC was a stunner in a blue and white gradient floor-length gown. But as soon as the cameras started rolling, YoonA lost her balance while adjusting her gown and fell. However, the veteran idol recovered immediately, going back to posing like a professional.

And another stumble:

Actress Claudia Kim (also known by her Korean name, Kim Soo Hyun) attended the event wearing a halter-neck, body-fitting black gown. While trying to walk down the red carpet, the actress stepped on the train of her own dress and tripped. Fortunately, she regained her balance quickly and continued posing for the cameras.

Blurred vision:

MMA fighter Choo Sung Hoon, who also walked the red carpet, had a different situation of his own. Known for his swagger, Choo got out of his car and approached the carpet with his manly strides. However, his macho entry was cut short as his glasses fogged up immediately, chilled by his car’s air conditioning. He had to walk the red carpet while constantly wiping his glasses, evoking laughter.

The almost nip-slip:

Actress Jung Eun Chae, who appeared at the event in a stunning black gown, almost suffered a serious wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet. While approaching the press wall, her gown slipped, partially revealing what appeared to be black pasties. Thankfully, the situation didn’t worsen, and she finished her red carpet appearance safely.

Thankfully, none of the incidents on the red carpet were too serious, and the night proceeded without further issues.
