ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo Reveals Whether He Feels The Life Of A Celebrity Suits Him Or Not

“I think I changed the personality of Lee Dong Min.”

Because of his handsome visuals, talent, and charm, ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo has had everyone talking about him even before his debut. After debuting, Eunwoo has been nothing but success in his career, dominating the K-Pop industry, acting, and even becoming great in variety shows.

In his interview with Harper’s Bazaar Korea, Eunwoo was asked, whether or not he feels his personality fits well with the life of a celebrity. Eunwoo explained that because it’s his career, he has learned to adjust and adapt to the busy and glamorous lifestyle. Eunwoo also explained that Cha Eunwoo and Lee Dong Min (Cha Eun woo’s real name) are two different people with two different personalities.

Q: Do you think the job of being a celebrity fits your personality well?

It’s a job, so I have to adapt. I’m not a big believer in the MBTI, but Cha Eun-woo and Lee Dong-min have different MBTIs. Cha Eun-woo is an INFJ and Lee Dong-min is an ENTJ.

Eunwoo then revealed how his personality over the years as a celebrity has changed him. While he can switch from celebrity mode to just him, Eunwoo shared he’s most himself with people he’s comfortable with.

Q: Could it be different?

I was curious too. I think I changed the personality of Lee Dong Min little by a little while working as a celebrity. Even so, Dong Min is Dong Min. When I’m with people I’m comfortable with, my original personality comes out.

Although Eunwoo commented that he tries to adapt to the life of a celebrity, he also admitted that he likes to go by his own rules, especially when it comes to his work.

Q: You said there were definitely moments when you had to be stubborn. Especially when working as a lead actor.

But, when it comes to acting, idol activities, or performing variety shows, such situations seem to be everywhere. They each have their own rules.

Eunwoo opened up even further as he conveyed how all the attention he receives from the public of fans can be a bit scary at times.

It’s a job where the attention of the public or fans is important. There are times when I am afraid of that, and there are times when I feel philosophical.
