The Beautiful, Ordinary Woman Who Outshone Idols And MAXIM Models
When the men’s magazine Maxim Korea launched a Miss Maxim model contest, nobody could have predicted the results. The contest was held to find a fresh face for the magazine’s December 2021 spread.
Hundreds of models, popular internet broadcast jockeys, influencers, and former female idols signed up for the contest in the hopes of becoming Miss Maxim for the year. In a surprising turn of events, an ordinary office worker found herself in first place during the contest.
Meet Park Soo Min, the gorgeous competitor who turned heads with her girl-next-door vibes. In comparison to some of the other competitors, Park only had a modest online following at the time (23,000 Instagram followers).
While the details of her occupation were not revealed, her seemingly “normal” job in the midst of influencers, models, and more came as a shock to many.
Amongst the dozens of other potential Miss Maxim candidates, it didn’t take long for her to stand out with her tanned skin and physique.
The office worker isn’t shy about sharing bikini photos on her Instagram page, as well as NSFW photoshoots.
Her pretty visuals, paired with her glamorous figure, earned her many new fans during the contest.
The selected winner of the contest would not only be given the opportunity to be on the cover of Maxim Korea, but also the opportunity to work as an exclusive model for the company. Many of the past Miss Maxim winners have gone on to work as formal models or as television personalities.
