BLACKPINK Couldn’t Help But Laugh When Recording A Certain Part Of Their Pre-Release Single “Pink Venom,” And It’s Adorable
BLACKPINK recently sat down for an interview with KIIS FM. They talked about their career so far, delving deeper into their favorite music videos, live performances, paranormal experiences, and more.
They also revealed some of their funny behind the scenes memories. They shared a recent moment when they couldn’t hold back their laughter while working. It was during the recording session of their pre-release single “PINK VENOM.”
It is apparently a common occurrence whenever the four members—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—are together in the studio. They never fail to have a great time when working, a result of having a sister-like bond.

It was specifically the introduction part of “PINK VENOM” that made them most amused. Here, the girls have to chant their group name in a simultaneously eerie and hypnotic way.
Though it was a serious mood that matched the intensity of the song, the members actually couldn’t stop joking around when they recorded the final version of it.
We all actually get into the studio together and stand into one mic. We look[ed] at each other and [gave] a cue and [sang] the BLACKPINK stuff, the introduction stuff.

Jennie reiterated with a huge smile that it is always fun to be with her friends. She said that “every time [they] head into the recording studio to do a group recording session,” they end up laughing.
