A Newly Discovered Flower Was Just Named After BLACKPINK’s Lisa And She Has One Thing To Say About It

It’s rare like her ❤️

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar Korea, BLACKPINK‘s Lisa talked about everything from her most memorable moment from Coachella to what she thinks about her feature in Taeyang‘s “Shoong!” Apart from those, she also unveiled the story behind why the Edelweiss flower is her favorite flower of all.

That prompted the interviewer to remember that a newly discovered flower in Thailand had just been named after her. “Now that you mention it, not long ago they named a newly discovered flower in Thailand, Lisa.”

Lisa then revealed that it was actually her mom who had broken the news to her.

Her mom sent her a picture of the flower, and she described it as a very surreal feeling. Since she has never seen it in person, she is now curious about it and hopes to get the chance to view it soon.

My mom was the first one to send me a picture. Although it is still surreal because I haven’t seen one in person, I am very curious. I want to see it soon.

Ultimately, she is very proud and happy about it. She knows she’ll be bragging about it until she’s old and gray. “I am sure I will brag about it even when I become a grandmother,” she added with a laugh.
