BLACKPINK’s Rosé Cleverly Overcomes Technical Difficulties During Her Performance, Earning Praise For Her Professionalism
BLACKPINK has been booked and busy since they returned from their nearly two-year group hiatus to release their second full-length album and begin their BORN PINK world tour.
The tour is promised to be the most extensive world tour conducted by a K-Pop girl group, and it’s already expanded to an incredible 53-show tour with additional shows recently added to the Asia leg of BORN PINK.
The group kicked off the Asia leg with two nights in Bangkok, followed by three nights in Hong Kong and one in Riyadh.
Before their latest show in Abu Dhabi, the BLACKPINK members spent their short break between concerts in France.
The gorgeous members arrived during Paris Fashion Week, with BLACKPINK’s Jisoo making a highly-anticipated appearance at the Christian Dior Spring 2023 Haute Couture show.
Jisoo stole the scene in a classic white dress, wearing her hair in a neat updo with her overall style reminiscent of the film and fashion icon Audrey Hepburn.
Each BLACKPINK member is tied to the luxury fashion market, each impressively representing different luxury fashion houses as global ambassadors.
Many hoped to see the group together in Paris, and their wish was granted in royal fashion when BLACKPINK performed at the Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes, a charity event sponsored by the First Lady of France, Brigitte Macron.
BLACKPINK closed out the star-studded gala, performing “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down” off of their second album.
They wowed the audience and viewers of the event with their incredible stage presence and powerful live performance, earning praise from many.
While the stage seemed to go off without a hitch, eagle-eyed BLINKs spotted a moment during a fan cam that captured Rosé experiencing a technical difficulty with her microphone.
The seasoned performer quickly pointed to her mic, seeming to motion that it wasn’t working as intended, or she wasn’t able to hear herself well through the in-ear monitor, as it appears that she gestured for the volume to be turned up. Her quick thinking was incorporated into the choreography, showing her incredible professionalism.
She didn’t let the setback affect her and continued to give her all to her performance, earning praise for her quick thinking and work ethic.
