When actresses, models, and trainees appear in BTS‘s music videos, fans try to learn more about them.
In 2017, BTS released their cinematic LOVE YOURSELF Highlight Reel, a video that plays a vital role in the group’s fictional lore. In the video, each BTS member is paired off (either one-on-one or in a love triangle) with a female co-star.
Five of the six girls in the video were K-Pop trainees at the time, who went on to join K-Pop girl groups, including ITZY and Cherry Bullet. Suga‘s love interest, however, was just starting out as an actress.
From 2015 to 2019, Park Jung Yeon was an SM Entertainment trainee and a hidden member of SMROOKIES. She left the agency and signed with SM Entertainment subsidiary KeyEast as an actress in 2019, and she went on to sign an exclusive contract with SALT Entertainment in 2022.
Since the Highlight Reel, Park Jung Yeon has appeared in six K-Dramas: Hi Bye, Mama! (2020),
Kingmaker: The Change of Destiny (2020), Must You Go? (2021), I Have Not Done My Best (2022), We’re Not Trash (2022), and Duty After School (2023).
On Instagram, Park Jung Yeon keeps her fans up to date on her activities and lifestyle with selfies, behind-the-scenes clips, and more.
She’s living her best life!
