BTS’s RM Makes His Long-Held Dream Come True After Thinking It Would Be Impossible

RM’s upcoming album Indigo follows the solo releases from his fellow group members J-Hope and Jin, who both blew fans away with their solo debuts.

Fans eagerly anticipate RM’s addition to BTS’s solo work after the successful releases of two previous mixtapes, RM and Mono.

For his upcoming release, RM will share his candid thoughts about life, giving ARMYs an intimate look at the inner musings of the leader of one of the world’s biggest musical groups.

This is my story over the last four years. I hope it stays with you for a long time like a tranquil field.

RM, whose deep intellect lends to his well-crafted lyrics, enlisted a VIP team of talented collaborators to help bring the album to life.

Along with the impressive list of featured artists and collaborators, RM announced he would hold a small concert.

The group’s last live performance was in front of 50,000 people at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium, not including people standing outside the stadium and an additional 50 million people who live-streamed the concert from home. To share his live music in an intimate setting has long been a goal for RM, and fans have found multiple instances he’s shared this dream in the past.

In May 2019, BTS sat down for an interview with iHeartRadio, where he addressed a small group of about 200 people and named his reason for becoming an idol.

We have 200 reasons right in front of us.

The iHeartRadio interview makes the set number of 200 attendees even more meaningful. In the same interview, he touches on his hopes to conduct a smaller concert in the future.

After this iHeartRadio, I think our next goal is to perform in this small room and, you know, have this little vibe with us, dance together. That’s our dream since we’re performing in the big stadiums, maybe sometimes we want to do like this little show.

RM recently touched on that dream again during his birthday live stream this year.

When the album releases, I want to do a small concert in Hongdae or somewhere even now. But I don’t know if that will be realistically possible.

Luckily, the BIGHIT MUSIC team and RM were able to make his dream happen, and 200 lucky fan club members will be chosen to experience the special performance live.
