BTS RM’s On-Stage Interaction With V Had A Hidden Meaning

The gesture was initially misunderstood 😂

BTS‘s record-breaking concert series, Permission To Dance On Stage, took place from October 2021 until April 2022 and consisted of 12 shows that were viewed in-person and virtually.

One heartwarming and hilarious clip, in particular, showed the members taking a well-earned breather backstage while BTS’s V filled them in on his interaction with leader RM during an earlier show.

V shared that while he was singing their song “Telepathy” on a stage cart, which allows artists to travel across the venue and be closer to fans, he had trouble hearing the music due to being immersed in cheers from fans.

He admitted he was offbeat since the cheers overpowered the music and recalled that RM had begun patting him on the shoulder in what he assumed was a reassuring gesture.

After a few moments, V hilariously realized that RM was helping him keep the beat by tapping in time with the music.

RM, J-Hope, Jungkook, and Jin, who were gathered for V’s “storytime,” couldn’t help laughing at the adorable misunderstanding, and ARMYs loved that the interaction depicted RM’s leadership style and his close friendship with V.
