Why BTS Suga’s Role As Gray Pianist In “2022 Season’s Greetings” Fits Him So Well
BTS‘s Suga totally rocked his role as the Gray Pianist in the group’s 2022 Season’s Greetings!
Suga, along with the rest of BTS, assumed a villainous persona for Season’s Greetings.
Although Suga is definitely far from evil in real life, he did share a few similarities with the Gray Pianist. Like Suga, the Gray Pianist had an intense passion for music.
We see Suga behind a piano as the Gray Pianist in the 2022 Season’s Greetings preview, and we’ve seen his piano skills in real life on many occasions. He dedicated his solo track, “First Love” from the Wings album to his piano, and he sat behind a piano during his live performances of the song.
He also played a gorgeous piano version of BTS’s hit “I Need U.”
Suga also played a fictional pianist version of himself in the game BTS World.
In the preview for the 2022 Season’s Greetings, the Gray Pianist said, “There are two types of music in the world, good music and bad music.” As he said this, he was shown composing music and writing on his sheet music.
Suga has proven time and time again that he’s just as passionate about writing and producing music as the Gray Pianist is, even though he uses his musical skills for good rather than evil. He’s written and produced many songs for BTS, including “Telepathy” from the BE album.
He’s written and produced solo music as Agust D.
He’s also written and produced for other artists. Recently, he produced Japanese singer ØMI‘s song, “You.”
Since Suga and the Gray Pianist both love music, it’s clear that Suga chose the perfect role of Season’s Greetings!
