Cha Tae Hyun Reveals The “Reason” Why He Decided To Guest On “Running Man”
Actor Cha Tae Hyun appeared as a guest on Running Man‘s “BFF Special”, as he and cast member Kim Jong Kook have been friends for over 2 decades.
As soon as Cha Tae Hyun appeared, the cast members couldn’t help but laugh.
Also, when Cha Tae Hyun came down the stairs, the first person he greeted was the director, and not the members themselves.
The members were a little “upset” by this, and Yoo Jae Suk asked him why he greeted the director first. Cha Tae Hyun got quite honest and stated that it was his first time meeting the director in two years and that he had seen the members recently before.
Kim Jong Kook then revealed that he and Cha Tae Hyun had spoken on the phone two days before, but Cha Tae Hyun never mentioned that he was going to guest on Running Man. Cha Tae Hyun then gave a hilarious response, as he told Kim Jong Kook, “You didn’t ask.”
When asked why he came on the show, Cha Tae Hyun jokingly said that he was on a “variety show tour“.
Cha Tae Hyun then shared that he was asked by the Running Man staff to guest on the episode. He then got playful and said that he ended up accepting the offer since he couldn’t make up an excuse to refuse it.
