Chinese Girl Born With Blonde Hair And Blue Eyes, Baffles Netizens

A toddler in eastern China has gone viral for her striking Caucasian features despite having Chinese parents.

Her parents were initially shocked and even questioned whether a baby swap had occurred at birth. However, multiple DNA tests confirmed she is their biological child.

The family later discovered that her paternal great-grandfather was Russian who settled in China after marrying a woman from Henan province.

Though she looked more like a typical Chinese baby at birth, her features began changing at eight months, with her eyes turning blue. By her first birthday, she had developed blonde, curly hair and more pronounced Caucasian traits like long eyelashes.

Her father shared that the mixed-heritage traits had never appeared in the male members of their family before. Experts explained that the traits are linked to recessive genes that can remain hidden for generations.

The child, nicknamed “Guojiang,” is now in kindergarten, speaks fluent Chinese, and has a cheerful personality. The story has gained attention on social media, baffling netizens.
