Super Junior’s Siwon Confirms His First Public Appearance Since His Scandal

Super Junior’s Siwon will be making his first public appearance since pulling out of all group promotions to reflect on his scandal.

Super Junior’s label confirmed that Siwon will be joining the group for their upcoming concert, Super Show 7 in December.

The Label SJ clarified that it was impossible to exclude Siwon from the show due to the contract that was signed before the incident.

“We debated Choi Siwon’s participation in the concert up until the very end.

However, because the concerts had been planned many months ago, it was a situation where making adjustments were virtually impossible.”

They also explained why it had been possible for Siwon to sit out the broadcast promotions but not the concert.

“At the time, we were still in the midst of discussions for television show appearances, so we were able to respect Siwon’s wishes and make the adjustments.”

Siwon stopped all the promotions for the single “Black Suit” after his dog bit and accidentally killed a woman.

Due to the recent tragic incident involving his dog, Siwon decided not to participate in any of Super Junior’s recent promotions for their 8th studio album “PLAY”.

Although he will remain reflecting in terms of broadcast promotions, Siwon will be making his first public appearance through their concert.

As this would be the first concert for Super Junior since 2015, fans are extremely excited about his return.

Whether he will continue reflecting on the concert or join his brothers in promotions is uncertain.
