Female Idol Called “Ugly B*tch” By K-Drama Director, Exposes Shocking Verbal Abuse

Former 4Minute member Nam Ji Hyun has revealed that she faced verbal abuse while filming her first K-Drama.

In a recent appearance on the YouTube channel Hwang Bora Boraiety, Nam shared the shocking experience that left her humiliated on set.

Nam explained that a camera director called her an “ugly b*tch” and ordered her to stand in front of the camera. Despite the harsh words, she tried to respond positively and maintain her composure.

When I was filming my first K-Drama while in 4Minute, the camera director said, ‘Hey, ugly b*tch! Stand in front.’

I thought, ‘Okay, I’ll handle this with positive energy,’ so I responded brightly, ‘Here comes the ugly b*tch.’

She later revealed that the director apologized after realizing she was a member of 4Minute, explaining that he had assumed she was a rookie actress.

Afterward, he apologized, saying he didn’t realize I was in 4Minute. He thought I was a rookie actress and wanted to test my courage.

Host Hwang Bora expressed disbelief at Nam’s experience, noting that such behavior would be unacceptable today. “If that happened now, it would be a huge problem. You’re really amazing for handling that back then,” Hwang praised the former idol.
