Why (G)-IDLE’s Miyeon Prefers Her “Good Side” And Why It Doesn’t Make Any Sense

Ariana Grande has one, Mariah Carey has one… and Miyeon has one, too.

Like any successful pop diva such as Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande, (G)-IDLE‘s main vocalist Miyeon has a side of her face she prefers.

On her appearance in singer Jo Hyunah‘s show, Everyday Is Thursday Night, Miyeon started at the right side of the screen, thus showing the left side of her face whenever she looked at the host.

However, before the interview started, she asked Jo Hyunah for a favor: “Can we switch seats?

When asked why, Miyeon responded, “This side of me is prettier,” and Jo Hyunah’s reaction was priceless.

Miyeon then exclaimed that the left side of her face was “crushed” Jo Hyunah asked what we were all thinking: “What are you talking about?!

Jo Hyunah switched seats for the singer without hesitation, and the interview proceeded with Miyeon sitting on the left side of the screen.

When netizens saw this scene, they could not understand how Miyeon, a singer known for having flawless visuals, could even think she had a bad side. Some of them joked that if her face is “crushed,” then theirs is “demolished.”
