This Girl Group Didn’t Get a Single Congratulatory Message from Their Agency for Their 2-Year Anniversary

Fans are still waiting for Pledis Entertainment to explain their hiatus.

Pristin is a 10-member girl group that debuted on March 21, 2017, which means it was recently their 2-year anniversary.

Since members such as Nayoung, Eunwoo, Kyulkyung, Siyeon, Yuha, Rena, and Roa appeared on Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 1, Pristin received overwhelming attention since they first debuted.

And in their first year of activities, they received numerous rookie awards at ceremonies such as the 2017 Asian Artist Awards, the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards, and the 27th Seoul Music Awards, and was acknowledged as one of the top rookie girl groups.

But that was it for Pristin’s group activities. In October of 2017, Kyla ceased activities due to health reasons, and members, Kyulkyung, Nayoung, Eunwoo, Rena, and Roa formed a subunit called Pristin V in May of 2018.

Unfortunately, this unit comeback failed to satisfy many fans who want a comeback with the entire group, and they still haven’t returned since September 2017.

As a result, fans have been expressing their dissatisfaction and asked that Pledis Entertainment explain themselves, but no responses have been given regarding the members’ activities.

As for the group’s social media accounts, their agency stopped updating their Twitter after July 8 of last year. And despite it being Pristin’s 2-year anniversary, the agency didn’t arrange a single V LIVE broadcast or post even a simple congratulatory message.

It appears that Pristin’s unexplained hiatus continues, which means fans will have to continue expressing their dissatisfaction and request that Pledis Entertainment provide some kind of explanation.
