Girls’ Generation’s First Activities As “Incheon Airport Customs Ambassadors” Still Shock Netizens

“These pictures will live on forever.” 😂

Girls’ Generation debuted as SM Entertainment‘s first 2nd-generation girl group in 2007 and quickly became a household name.

In 2010, Girls’ Generation released their second mini-album, Oh!, featuring new tracks “Oh!” and “Run Devil Run,” which became hits and only continued to propel the group’s popularity.

Shortly after the release of Oh!, the group was named Incheon Airport Customs Ambassadors and attended a special ceremony at the airport before heading to Shanghai for their Into The New World Tour show on April 17, 2010.

Footage and photos from their event resurface annually and still shock fans a decade later for a hilariously out-of-context moment that occurred during their appointing ceremony.

One of their first activities as Incheon Airport Customs Ambassadors was to conduct an honorary luggage check with a detection dog.

While the dog checked the staged luggage, it detected a prohibited substance in one of the suitcases and alerted the dog’s handler, which happened to be Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany.

The members then posed, along with event coordinators, with the illegal substance found in the suitcase, leading to official photos taken that hilariously continue to go viral whenever they resurface.
