In fact, she’s most famous in the beauty community for having an incredible 18-step Korean skincare routine. It includes pre-makeup products such as a face mask, toner, eye serum, and lip balm as well as the skin-friendly makeup portion; namely, foundation, concealer, powder, eyebrow product, blush, highlight, bronzer, eyeshadow or eyeliner, mascara, and lip tint.

Tiffany received an overwhelmingly positive response from viewers who loved her passion and tips.

At the same time, she knew that there were people who wondered about the necessity of doing such a long routine all in one sitting. She talked about this in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, implying that she does not worry about the judgement of others. In fact, she sometimes even adds more steps to her routine!

I’m not going to lie, but it goes back and forth. Sometimes, I might even include more products, but I’m not ashamed about my routine.

The latest product to make it to her favorites is a face serum by Lancôme. The Parisian brand recently invited her to their “Beauty Tech Flagship” store launch in Singapore, showcasing the tagline “Strong is the new Young” as a play on Tiffany’s surname.

I got the product (Lancome Genifique) three weeks ago, because when we decided to do this event, I wanted to really share about my experience using it.

As it implied, the Girls’ Generation member exemplified self-confidence. She continued the discussion about her skincare routine by proclaiming that she does it despite its time consuming nature for her own enjoyment—and that is what matters.

I’m proud of how much I love to find fun and quality products that make me feel better.

After all, she finally grew to see beauty not through the eyes of other people but through her own standards.

I think, growing up and also starting in the industry at such a young age, I considered beauty to be what society told me I should be wearing, putting on or buying. But coming into my 30s, and taking a lot of time out from the industry, which included doing a lot of therapy and focusing on my self-worth, I’ve come to realize that beauty is a choice and a mindset.

Finally, Tiffany wanted to impart the message that people should not feel self-conscious about their passions. Beauty, she says, is “for everyone.”

Beauty isn’t just one thing or category. Beauty is for everyone. And I would say this not only to young Tiffany, but to everyone.
