GOT7's Mark Reveals His Gratitude For Ahgases’ Support After The Group Left JYP Entertainment

In a recent interview with Billboard, GOT7‘s Mark spoke about leaving JYP Entertainment and how thankful he is to Ahgases (GOT7’s fandom).

Mark shared that the support from Ahgases has been “crazy” ever since they left JYP Entertainment and that the love they’ve been receiving motivates him.

It’s crazy right now. I feel like the fans have been super supportive of us ever since we announced that we were leaving JYP. Super thankful for the fans, and it just motivates me even more, to work harder.

When asked what Ahgases can expect in terms of music, Mark shared that he “can’t say too much for the other members,” but he’s currently working on his solo album!

Well, I can’t say too much for the other members, but for me right now, I am working on trying to find my own sound. Just building my album right now. It sounds good, I like it (laughs).

In early 2021, JYP Entertainment announced that all the GOT7 members would not be renewing their contracts with them. Despite leaving the company, the members have stated many times that they’re still together as a group, and they released their song “ENCORE” to let Ahgases know this.
