What Is Jinni Doing Now After Leaving NMIXX And Changing Her Name? She Is Super Busy Even Before Her Solo Debut
On December 9, 2022, JYP Entertainment formally announced that NMIXX’s Jinni had terminated her exclusive contract with the company and would no longer be a member of the group. JYP Entertainment explained in a letter that her departure was due to personal circumstances and that NMIXX will continue as six members.
Many fans were curious about why she left and what she has been doing since she left NMIXX. In March of this year, Jinni excited fans by breaking the silence and opening her personal Instagram account.
After Jinni opened her Instagram, some fans’ speculations led them to believe she would sign with THE BLACK LABEL, but the agency denied the rumors. Then in April, it was announced that Jinni signed an exclusive contract with UAP (United Artist Production), where she will promote as a solo artist named JINI.
Although there haven’t been any updates on her solo debut or music releases, Jinni has been active on social media. She has been keeping her fans happy by posting selfies and pictures of herself on her Instagram frequently.
Then in July, JINI started becoming active on TikTok. Her first video was of her singing a cover of BIBI’s song “The Weekend.”

Since opening her TikTok account, JINI has been actively uploading videos and showing different sides of her through them. She did the popular dance challenge for a Japanese song that many K-Pop idols and celebrities have been doing lately, showing her cute side.
