Jungkook covered “We Don’t Talk Anymore” and it went viral

Over a year ago, BTS’ Jungkook melted a quite a few hearts after he uploaded a teaser of one of his audio covers.

 

On January 6th, 2017,  Jungkook surprised his fans with a snippet of his cover of Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore.” The preview was uploaded on his personal Twitter account and immediately received positive responses from his followers.

 

After Jungkook’s teaser was released, Charlie Puth’s original track even became one of the top streamed songs at the time, proving the popularity of BTS’s youngest member.

 

Fans were eagerly anticipating the full release of the track and luckily didn’t have to wait too long because a little over a month later, Jungkook released the full version shortly after! The full cover went viral just as the short clip had and in less than 13 hours, his cover had already reached over 1 million views on YouTube.

 

His cover also caught the attention of Charlie Puth himself! And as every ARMY knows, this moment started their long-lasting friendship that has even included a performance of the viral song at the 2018 MGAs!
