Kim Sae Ron’s Sisters Also Debuted As Actresses — Where Are They Now?
Kim Sae Ron was only 24 years old when she passed away on February 16, 2025, but she achieved many incredible things as an actress during her lifetime.
After debuting in 2009, at age 9, Kim Sae Ron went on to star in landmark films such as The Man From Nowhere and win prestigious awards like “Best Actress.” She later transitioned from supporting roles to lead roles as an adult.
Kim Sae Ron is the most famous actress in her family, but not the only one. Her two younger sisters, Kim Ah Ron and Kim Ye Ron (also known as Go Seung Ah) also debuted as child actresses.
Kim Ah Ron was born on January 6, 2002, making her 23 years old. She made her acting debut in 2011 and appeared in the 2012 films Perfect Number and Barbie. In the latter film, Kim Ah Ron acted alongside Kim Sae Ron in a supporting role. They attended events and interviews together to promote the film.
Kim Ah Ron made her musical debut in 2013, where she played young Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz and Gretl von Trapp in The Sound of Music. Back in 2018, Kim Ah Ron made headlines for her visuals when she was 16 years old, with these photos attracting attention online:
Kim Ye Ron was born on June 30, 2004, making her 20 years old and the youngest of the three sisters. She made her acting debut at age 7 in the 2011 horror movie The Cat. In it, she played a ghostly little girl and acted alongside lead actress Park Min Young.
Kim Ye Ron made her musical debut in 2012, playing young Turandot in Turandot and young Pocahontas in Pocahontas. She played young Mulan in a 2013 production of Mulan. In 2019, Kim Ye Ron went on to make her K-Drama debut as a supporting character in When You Love Yourself Season 2.
Neither sister has recent acting credits. Kim Ye Ron’s most recent Instagram post was uploaded on February 9, 2023, in celebration of her graduation, while Kim Ah Ron’s Instagram account is currently set to private.
