Meet Korea’s Most Sought-After Model — A One Year Old With A Resumé Longer Than Most Adults

The Korean entertainment industry has been shaken with the star power of a new face— the darling of commercials, Jae Yi.

Daughter of popular comedian and TV personality Park Soo Hong, Jae Yi has already shot a whopping 15 ad films, despite being just eleven months old! This extraordinary feat has earned her the title of the “most valuable baby of K-Entertainment.”

Recently, Park posted a YouTube video featuring Jae Yi, celebrating her rare achievement. He took his daughter to the Han River Festival, mingling with the crowd, and surprisingly, many of them recognized Jae Yi.

The two were bombarded with requests for pictures as the crowd gathered around them kept praising their favorite little model for her adorable visuals. Notably, some of these admirers turned out to be from Japan. Park Soo Hong was overwhelmed with gratitude and exclaimed, “She already has fans in Japan too!”

Jae Yi’s public appeal at such a young age might be surprising, but not wholly unexpected, given her family background. Her father, Park Soo Hong, is a beloved comedian and TV star who has won accolades such as the MBC Drama Awards and SBS Entertainment Awards. Her mother, Kim Da Ye, is a model-turned-actress who has appeared in dramas such as My Strange Hero and To All The Guys Who Loved Me. Park married Kim, 23 years his junior, in 2021. The couple welcomed their daughter Jae Yi in 2024.
