When I told my mom that I have no interest in dating anymore, she said it’s a good thing to have someone by your side. I agree with that, but I’m not sure. Could there be someone on this earth who could give me something that’s more precious than the peace I enjoy on my own? Could there be someone on this earth who deserves to share the peace that I found after much effort? All people have flaws, and dealing with my own flaws takes so much of my energy that I’m not sure if I can accept someone else’s flaws into my life as well. If you compare my life to TV, I’ve left lame and ridiculous comedies on for way too long. I just want the rest of my life to be a documentary of the beautiful ocean. I just want to spend the rest of my life on honorable and complete things. I think being lonely from time to time suits me better than fighting and sleeping with your backs turned on each other from time to time.
