LE SSERAFIM’s Yunjin And Eunchae Freak Out Over BIGBANG’s Taeyang While Doing The “Vibe” Challenge

It was a special moment for the girls.

Having debuted in 2006, BIGBANG is immensely popular among third-generation idols like BTS, BLACKPINK, IU, and many more. Their countless remarkable performances and hit songs earned them the title of the “Kings of K-pop.”

Unsurprisingly, their influence continued among newer artists as well. LE SSERAFIM‘s Yunjin and Eunchae, who debuted in 2022, proved to be huge fans of BIGBANG while doing a dance challenge for Taeyang‘s new single, “Vibe,” featuring BTS’s Jimin. In a behind-the-scenes vlog, the two young singers were shown to be incredibly nervous before filming the short video. To shake off their nerves, they practiced the song’s choreography as if they were preparing for a concert.

Despite having performed in front of massive crowds, it was clear that Yunjin and Eunchae had so much respect for their sunbaenim (the Korean word used to refer to a senior in the same professional industry) that they felt a completely different pressure to do their best. Just the thought of suggesting an ending pose had the girls panicking.

Their jaws kept dropping when Taeyang entered the room, and they couldn’t stop bowing to him! They shyly offered their senior a signed copy of their latest extended play, Antifragile, while Yunjin’s face was completely flushed red.

In the end, the filming went smoothly, and the girls snapped group pictures with Taeyang, who thanked them for participating in the challenge. It was a dream come true for the rookie idols who were grateful to help.

Yunjin and Eunchae still held their sunbaenim in the highest regard, despite having debuted more than 15 years apart, showing that BIGBANG’s positive impact on idols continues today!
