NCT’s Chenle Had The Biggest Betrayal Of His Life When He Invited A Fan Account To Live Chat Instead Of WayV’s Kun

Mistakes were made, but the embarrassment stays.

NCT‘s Chenle often goes on live streams via Weibo to talk to fans. He is well-loved for the candid way that he runs these streams. Recently, he wanted to talk to fellow NCT member, WayV‘s Kun, on live stream. Weibo allows one to run streams with multiple people broadcasting, just like a video call.

He dialed the account in.

As it continued to load, he realized that something was wrong. The account wasn’t quite who he expected it to belong to.

His expression changed when he noticed that he had accidentally dialed in a fan account instead of Kun’s real account. The usernames were highly similar!

Chenle quickly hung up. He sat in shock for a good few seconds as the reality sunk in. He was in total disbelief.

Embarassment hit him hard when he realized that the first word he had uttered was “baby.” Chenle frequently refers to his fellow members affectionately as “baby,” but we’re sure he didn’t mean to call the fan that!

After Kun got off work, he was alerted to what had happened and replied with a memeable reaction of his own.

The funniest wrap-up to the situation? When Kun jokingly ribbed Chenle, asking if he was still feeling embarrassed, Chenle blamed the fake account for the similar name. The fake account had operated under the username “WayV_Qianyin_Kun” whereas Kun’s real handle is “WayV_Qiankun_Kun“.

We’re certain that Chenle will be sure to look twice before inviting other members’ accounts to do live streams next time!
