NCT’s Doyoung Had A “Role Model Idol” Response To A Question About The Women In SM
NCT‘s Doyoung was included in a special episode of Street Alcohol Fighter 2 hosted by Super Junior‘s Heechul, which featured 4 different generations of SM Entertainment idols gathering to drink, promote their new projects, and entertain their fans. EXO‘s Xiumin and former H.O.T. member Kangta also joined the cast.
The cast was comfortable with one another from the start. Clearly, they had met and spent time with each other before. Despite the age gap, all of the boys seemed comfortable teasing and joking around with one another.
They were also explicitly chosen because they were known as the best drinkers in SM Entertainment!
Soon, they began playfully interrogating each other. Doyoung, being the maknae (the Korean word used to refer to the youngest in the group), was targeted by the older members. They tried to bait him into admitting if he had ever been in a club, but he smartly avoided the question.
Doyoung realized he was in danger when his seniors also began openly swearing on camera!
Heechul then set up Doyoung again by asking the group who they thought were the best drinkers in SM Entertainment. At first, they were able to answer quickly. Doyoung said he thought of TVXQ‘s Max Changmin and Xiumin noted that no one came to mind, making the members think he thought no one could surpass him.
Kangta and Heechul said Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and Shindong, respectively.
Heechul smoothly transitioned into asking if any of them knew of women in SM Entertainment who could drink a lot, and Kangta immediately mentioned their colleague, BoA. Doyoung responded with another textbook idol answer by saying, “I don’t know anyone.”
The whole table burst into laughter at their maknae‘s automatic response! Even when Heechul pressed Doyoung with more questions, he insisted he knew no one.
Kangta applauded him and called him a “Role model idol .”
Seeing the four friends relaxing, joking around, and forgetting the cameras was refreshing. Fans would love to see more direct interactions like this between their favorites!
