NCT’s Mark And Chenle Couldn’t Stop Clowning SEVENTEEN’s Jun

Jun tried to play it cool…

SEVENTEEN‘s Jun shocked everyone with his role in a C-Drama, including his idol friends!

SEVENTEEN‘s Jun

Jun starred as Ling Chao in the C-Drama Exclusive Fairytale (also stylized as Exclusive Fairy Tale) opposite actress Zhang Miaoyi, who portrays his friend-to-lover Xiao Tu. It is adapted from the IP novel Once We Come Across Love.

The story follows the sensitive and independent overachiever Ling Chao (played by Wen Junhui) and the carefree and adorable underachiever Xiao Tu (played by Zhang Miaoyi). They have known each other since birth and have a love-hate relationship as childhood friends. With the help of their parents and friends, they eventually embark on a sweet and romantic journey. Whether in kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, or high school, Ling Chao and Xiao Tu are like a pair of bound and inseparable commodities. They cannot shake off their connection no matter how much they try. It is only when Xiao Tu mistakenly believes that she has feelings for Yin Zihan (played by Xiong Aobo) and nearly breaks up with Ling Chao that he realizes the indispensable place Xiao Tu holds in his heart.

Once all of the episodes of Exclusive Fairytale were released, viewers, especially CARATs, had their mouths wide open, as it included many kiss scenes and even a sexy scene in bed.

CARATs imagined Jun’s members’ reactions to his kiss scenes. Some even edited them into one particarily humorous scene where the couple are caught in an intimate position.

Jun held a live broadcast via Weverse, so CARATs asked what the SEVENTEEN members’ reactions really were. Jun confessed he wished they would not watch it, but he pretended not to care and even advised them on how to watch with Korean subtitles. But he knew they wouldn’t stop teasing him for at least a year!

How did the members react? TBH, I wished they wouldn’t watch it. But I figured, even if I didn’t tell them about it, they’d find out about it at one point. So… I pretended I was not embarrassed about it and told them about it myself. I thought that might be better. I even taught them how to watch it with Korean subs. I was a bit fearless… But waaah! They’re going to make fun of it for a year. I know it. They’re going to tease me forever. I guess it’s OK, though, because right now, I’m not quite myself either…

His SEVENTEEN members weren’t the only ones he has to worry about either… During the same live broadcast, he told viewers to not even mention his friend, NCT‘s Chenle. Chenle didn’t let Jun rest since the moment Exclusive Fairytale teasers were released!

Don’t mention Chenle. He’s been asking me ever since the teaser came out.

Apparently, another NCT member, Mark, was in on it too. Jun just told them to watch it together.

Mark also asked me, and I told them to watch together. They asked why, and I said you will know soon. Today, I sent them a screenshot of the languages available in Chinese, Korean, English, so they can watch however they want.

Jun really won’t hear the end of it, possibly for the rest of his life!
