Netizens Amazed By The Unaging Visuals Of A Second-Gen Girl Group Member
K-Pop is already in its fourth generation of talented artists, but this year has shown us that K-Pop’s earlier generations are anything but forgotten.
This year, we’ve seen 2NE1 reunite for a surprise performance at Coachella, Girls’ Generation reunite and release a full album for their 15th anniversary, BIGBANG release a new single, “Still Life,” and SISTAR reunite to perform on the final episode of Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook, to name a few of the second-generation returns.
Another group that recently announced they would be reuniting to release a new album is the second-generation group KARA.
KARA members Gyuri, Seungyeon, Youngji, Nicole, and Jiyoung, will reunite to drop a new album in November; it will be KARA’s first full album release in six years.
Recently, a member of KARA posted an Instagram story that had netizens amazed with her youthful visuals. A popular Korean community board reacted to the post with netizens in disbelief that she was born in 1988 and others commenting that she looks like she could be a fourth-generation idol.
The member was Han Seungyeon, who is actually the second oldest member of KARA!
In her recent Instagram story, she wore her hair in youthful pigtail braids and wore light makeup, showcasing even more of her charming beauty.
Fans hilariously claimed they were the only ones aging and others wondered if Han Seungyeon was aging backward.
