NMIXX Proved They’re Perfect Entertainers With Their Enthusiasm And Comedic Timing
Many rookie idol groups are often nervous about appearing on reality shows after they debut since they mainly focus on the comedic timing and wittiness of the guests. Most of them are shy since they’re not yet comfortable being in front of a camera, and sometimes they’re also afraid of making mistakes while trying to be funny or entertaining.
That doesn’t seem to be the case for JYP Entertainment‘s latest girl group NMIXX who came onto the K-Pop scene in February 2022.
The girls were excited about filming their first reality show and even mentioned that it was one of their dreams before debuting, even though other young idols sometimes dread the experience.
Sure enough, the girls wasted no time immersing in the characters of their first series, Folk Tale Family, wherein they had to play characters ranging from a cow and toad to a fairy and philosopher! Regardless of the role they landed, the girls enthusiastically dedicated themselves to the bit.
In the true spirit of variety shows, the girls weren’t afraid of looking silly for their fans’ entertainment!
They also quickly mastered the skill of bargaining for more chances to win at games.
Most of all, they were subtly able to cheat their way to prizes by being quick-witted and sly, like when they asked the producers to edit the shot wherein they lost and acting like they were going back in time to give themselves another opportunity to win!
NMIXX were born to be entertainers, and it will be exciting to see if they get the chance to play more games and appear in other reality-variety series in the future!
