Racist Karen Attacks Girl Filming An Innocent TikTok In Public

It’s the year 2024 and yet, racism is alive and kicking in every part of the world. A recent viral video has served as an ugly reminder of this fact, in which a racist white woman, often referred to as a “Karen,” can be seen harassing and hurling slurs at an Asian woman for simply taking a video of herself.

The video in question started out as a light-hearted “fit check”. The person on camera, a young Asian girl, posed, showing off her outfit, as her friend filmed her. But while these two women were having harmless fun, an older white lady walked by them and decided to disparage them with a snarky comment, “Give it a break girls.”

In response, both of them smilingly asked the woman to shut it, and the situation escalated. After a few moments of a heated back and forth, the older woman approached the two younger ones, fully intending on a physical confrontation. 

The younger women, however, didn’t back down in the face of this absurd outburst of the woman and fought back. Eventually, the Karen left the scene, but only after calling the women “ch**ks,” a vile anti-Asian slur. The incident reortedly took place in Seaport area in Boston. 

The video, which has been reposted by multiple netizens, has gone viral across platforms. On X (former Twitter), a repost of the clip has garnered ver 27 million views within a day of posting, with angered netizens weighing in on the unhinged behavior of the older woman.
