Red Velvet’s Joy And KARA’s Youngji Wore The Same Skintight Dress But Served Totally Different Vibes
Red Velvet‘s Joy and KARA‘s Youngji both recently wore the same skin-tight dress for their respective group’s promotions and rocked it in a completely different way.
Red Velvet recently returned with their second Korean comeback of the year. The group released their 14th mini-album, The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday, and are currently promoting their title track, “Birthday.”
The group is known for their refreshing and fun concepts, and they excited fans with the series of concept photos showing the members partying at home, showcasing their natural beauty.
They then switched it up with more colorful photos of the members. Red Velvet’s Joy was a Barbie dream, posed with a bright pink Jeep in front of what appeared to be an abandoned storefront, similar to the set seen in the group’s 2015 music video for “Ice Cream Cake.”
Joy wore her long, dark hair straight and wore a skintight $725 USD metallic pink Diesel dress. With the dress, she paired trendy accessories such as an edgy lip ring, silver armband, and pink furry boots or leg warmers.
Joy was effortlessly chic in the trendy, sexy Y2K-inspired look.
KARA’s Youngji also wore the metallic dress for her group’s “When I Move” promotions but styled it completely differently.
The second-generation group recently reunited and made their first comeback in six years with their special 15th-anniversary album. They’re currently promoting their title track, “When I Move,” and the members all wore outfits that shine on stage.
For the group’s performance on KBS‘s Music Bank, Youngji wore the $725 USD Diesel dress with a hot pink fur jacket, rhinestone tassel earrings, and white sneakers. She wore her hair in a cute side bun and wore colorful, sparkly makeup.
Youngji’s look was fun and glamorous for her grand return to the stage!
