Red Velvet’s Seulgi Reveals What She Dreamt of Becoming When She Was Just 11 Years Old
Red Velvet‘s Seulgi is now a famous idol in one of the most popular K-Pop groups in Korea.
But has her dream always been just that?
Seulgi recently took to her Instagram account to share what she dreamt of becoming when she was just 11 years old.
The post shows a photo of a drawing that she made describing what she wanted to become when she grew up.
And it turns out that Seulgi’s dream of becoming a singer has been a long-lived one.
Her drawing was one of herself in a stage outfit, and the description reads,
The best singer, Kang Seulgi!
She then went on to express her future in numbers and elaborated on what that meant.
I’ll become a singer in 10 years, make more than 100 people happy, I’ll work hard for 2 hours a day toward my dream, and I’ll think about the future me for 5 minutes at a time.
And here she is now.
In a past episode of Let’s Eat Dinner Together, Seulgi revealed just how long she had been chasing her dream.
I auditioned when I was in grade 6 of elementary school and became a trainee in 1st year of middle school. I was a trainee for about 7 years.
Seulgi is set to make a comeback with Irene as a sub-unit of Red Velvet this coming July.
