Stray Kids’ Bang Chan’s Advice For Getting Rejected By Your Crush
During a live broadcast of Chan’s Room, Stray Kids‘ Bang Chan gave advice on how to deal with the rejection that might come from confessing to your crush.
Bang Chan came across a “cute question” where a fan asked for some much-needed advice: “How do I talk to my crush without having a hard time?”
He couldn’t give the fan any pointers to make it easier. Instead, he warned them that “it takes courage” and they “need to be prepared for the results.”
If they jumped into it only hoping for the best, Bang Chan didn’t want the fan to immediately get heartbroken if their confession wasn’t successful.
Emphasizing the odds of how the situation could turn out, Bang Chan gave a realistic possibility of what could happen.
You never know what could happen. Either it could be acceptance or rejection. It’s like a 50-50 chance, right?
— Bang Chan
Not wanting anyone to get hurt, he warned everyone to protect their heart.
Even if you really, really like that person, try not to expect too much. Or, you’ll get more hurt. But, it’s probably different for everyone.
— Bang Chan
After giving so many warnings to protect fans’ feelings, Bang Chan shared the best advice he could for making a confession as casual as possible. He said, “Just try not to think too much about it, and just be you.”
And if someone got flat out rejected by their crush and didn’t prepare for the possibility beforehand, Bang Chan completely agreed with a fan who commented, “‘If you ever get rejected, their loss. Not yours.’”
