During King of the Masked Singer, Super Junior‘s Heechul was revealed, stunning literally everyone.
No, really, everyone was floored when they saw Heechul!
Despite being a member of Super Junior, Heechul is most commonly known for his appearances on variety shows, so few people realized he could sing so well!
Heechul shared that groupmate and 5-time King of the Masked Singer champion Kyuhyun would stop by the show to visit him and give him encouragement…
… However, Kyuhyun may not have had entirely pure motivations when advising Heechul! When asked whether Kyuhyun told him he would become the next masked king, Heechul said something surprising—he told Heechul to try to get out in the first round!
Kyuhyun did say, ‘Don’t get eliminated in Round Two. Wouldn’t it be cooler to get eliminated in Round One so that you can take off your mask during the performance?’

For his part, Heechul recognized the sabotage and asked his friend, “What are you saying, you jerk?”
Kyuhyun’s bad advice is actually pretty funny when you consider that it shows how close he and Heechul must be!
