Surreal Footage Of Drama Director Screaming At Former Idol-Turned-Actress Ends With Unexpected Results
A clip of a drama director yelling at ex-WJSN‘s Cheng Xiao has made its rounds online.
Cheng Xiao debuted as a member of WJSN (Cosmic Girls) in 2016 before beginning her solo activities in China. She remained on hiatus from the group until March 2023, when her departure was officially announced.
The idol appeared in her first drama, Detective Chinatown, in 2020 and has since continued appearing in different projects, including making her big screen debut in 2021.
She appeared in numerous K-Dramas in 2024, including The Story Of The Mystics, also known as Fangs of Fortune. In a clip that has since gone viral on social media, the drama’s director, Guo Jing Ming, can be seen yelling at the idol. According to a netizen’s report, he was angry that the former idol had disappeared to fix her costume and even told her to “go back to being an idol.”
The user who posted the clip shared their explanation of the incident, explaining that the screaming wasn’t done out of malicious intent.
