“True Beauty” Cast Shares Their Most Memorable Moments Of The Hit K-Drama

We’re sad to see it go and so are they!

The True Beauty cast appears again in a new behind-the-scenes video! The recent video was from their final day of filming and showed all of the fun the cast and crew were having together.

The interview began with Moon Ga Young (Lim Ju Gyeong)’s thoughts about finishing filming.

We’ve been filming without a break for seven months, so that might be why it hasn’t hit me yet. It was the same with other projects, but with True Beauty in particular, it became my daily routine.

—Moon Ga Young

The cast was asked to share any memorable moments they had while filming or anything they were sad about.

Ga Young said that her fantastic co-stars were her most memorable moment. Cha Eun Woo (Lee Su Ho) shared that he was sad that he had to leave a project he was working on for almost a year. However, he added, “…on the other hand I learned a lot and had so much fun while filming, so I have mixed emotions.”

He also reminisced about the wedding scene and how fun it was. He really loved the energy the cast gave off.

I remember the ‘Ottoke Song’ too and the scene with his father where he lets out all the things he kept pent up inside.

Next was Hwang In Yeob (Han Seo Jun)’s turn. While looking at the final set, he commented, “It’s almost the end. I feel strange.

I’ve received so much undeserved love that I never expected, so I’m still stunned and amazed. I was so happy as Seo Jun and I was grateful to be able to play him. It’s now time for me to let go of Seo Jun, but I don’t think I will be able to for a very long time.

He ends with a final thank you to the cast and crew.

Park Yoo Na (Kang Su Jin) said that it feels like the first filming wasn’t that long ago. She shared, “I have mixed emotions about that; it’s bringing back a lot of old memories.” She also mentioned how great the cast’s teamwork was and how amazing their chemistry was.

Im Se Mi, who played Ju Gyeong’s older sister Lim Hee Gyeong, and Oh Eui Shik, who played Ju Gyeong’s teacher Han Joon Woo, spoke together about their experiences.

Se Mi said that she felt pretty sad but also happy at the great job they did. She also mentioned how happy she was acting alongside Eui Shik.

I also feel a bit sad, and maybe it’s because I played a teacher, but seeing the students like this [graduating] makes me feel a little strange.

Kim Min Ki (Ju Gyeong’s younger brother Lim Ju Young) shared that he was happy that he could experience so many things during filming. “It still hasn’t hit me that we won’t see each other anymore,” he said. “While I do feel relieved, I also feel sad.

Kang Min Ah (Choi Su Ah) also shared that it didn’t feel like the show ended.

I think as the classmates all get together, we’ll be able to wrap up filming together while feeling excited and happy, so I feel good right now.

—Kang Min Ah

She mentioned how happy she was to film with Ga Young and Yoo Na at the beginning of their shoot.

Lee Il Joon was Yoo Tae Hoon, while Lee Sang Jin played Ahn Hyun Gyu.

I feel like I received love that I didn’t deserve, so I’m very grateful. I am sad because I think I could have done better but wasn’t able to. I tend to be shy, so I was cautious with [Kang Min Ah] at first, but she took such good care of me. So also I’m very grateful for her.

—Lee Il Joon

Lee Sang Jin shared that he felt so happy that he wished it never ended.
