She told them in person, too.

A K-Pop fan went viral after sharing that she worked hard for two years to set up a job opportunity for her idols. She even personally provided them with updates throughout the process!

The fan, who works at an advertising agency, first explained what was happening in the video.

I started crying after getting a phone call that day. For the idol video call event I proposed for probably two years, the client called and said, ‘The money is ready. Please assist us in discussing the details with the idols.’

The event is for Samsung, featuring ASTRO‘s Moonbin & Sanha, in March 2023. Purchasers of Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series had the opportunity to have a video call with the two idols.

The fan shared how she felt being in a position where she could essentially help her idols with their career.

I truly understand how difficult it is to work hard for your own idol. How do you present your idol to others and have them recognize the idol’s hard work? I worked hard for that, too.

As a fan, she went to fansigns and told the idols about the proposal in person.

When I told Moonbin about it, it sounded like a scam, too. Since it was in the proposal stage, I was still waiting for a response, and there wasn’t a signed contract yet.

Moonbin even asked me why I had to talk about it every week when we met since he had yet to hear about it [from his agency]. I just kept saying, ‘I’m working very hard. I ran into an obstacle, but I’m working hard.’ He probably did think I was working hard, right? But how come he wasn’t seeing any results hahahahahaha. [He probably thought] I was a fangirl-slash-scammer.

But her hard work paid off. Her client accepted the proposal, and she was finally able to give her idols the great news.

Finally, when the unit [Moonbin & Sanha] made their comeback in early 2023, I was able to tell them in person at a fansign, ‘You’ve heard, right? You know about it, right? We’re preparing to sign the contract now.’

Moonbin said, ‘Yeah, I heard.’

I worked super duper hard.

The power of love in an idol-fan relationship is no joke and can definitely provide motivation for both sides!
