TWICE’s Jeongyeon Has The Perfect Comment For Red Velvet Seulgi’s Solo Debut

TWICEVELVET is alive and thriving!

SM Entertainment announced that Red Velvet‘s Seulgi would make her solo debut titled 28 Reasons on October 4, 2022. She follows her fellow members, Wendy and Joy, who were the first to release extended plays in 2021.

Based on the trailer that was released, it seems like Seulgi’s concept will be closer to the darker themes of Red Velvet’s first subunit, Red Velvet – IRENE & SEULGI, which debuted in 2020.

Red Velvet’s youngest members Joy and Yeri, quickly showed their support for their unnie (Korean word girls use to address older women) by sharing the trailer and commenting on her Instagram post!

Even idols outside of Seulgi’s group weren’t immune to her charms since, less than 12 hours later, TWICE‘s Jeongyeon also reacted to Seulgi’s post by liking it and commenting, “Is there anything you can’t do?

Similar to Joy’s, her comment refers to how Seulgi is often called an “all-rounder,” meaning she doesn’t have any weaknesses in her performance abilities as an idol.

Although interactions between idol groups of different companies are rare, TWICE’s Jeongyeon had always shown a connection to Red Velvet’s Seulgi, like when she visited her show Seulgi.zip to promote TWICE’s song “Scientist” with her fellow member Jihyo.

Ever since the TWICE members opened personal Instagram accounts, fans have been on the lookout for their social media interactions with people outside of their group. This is a great sign that TWICE can more openly support their friends in the K-Pop industry!
