TXT Hueningkai’s Dad Contributes To The “Do It Like That” Music Video In An Unexpected Way
TXT collaborated with the popular American group the Jonas Brothers earlier this summer with their song “Do It Like That.”
With One Republic‘s lead singer and producer Ryan Tedder at the creative helm and the talented combination of the two global groups, the song was a certified summer hit.
TXT recently released a behind-the-scenes video of the “Do It Like That” music video filming and revealed new secrets about making the song and video.
The TXT members were in a studio in Korea, filming in front of a white backdrop while sharing that the Jonas Brothers weren’t in the country, but they would be edited into the video later.
While the group had set choreography for the song, they were also able to show off their freestyle dancing skills during the music video.
Leader Soobin hilariously shared that performing freestyle is difficult for him because he finds it “hard” to “act cool.”
Despite his fears, he had nothing to worry about as the members effortlessly created a fun atmosphere on set.
For the freestyle dance, maknae Hueningkai announced he would be taking inspiration from his dad, Nabil David Huening, who had a successful career as a singer and actor in China.
Hueningkai taught the moves to his fellow group members, sharing that the key was just “grooving to the rhythm.”
The dance move inspired by Hueningkai’s dad ended up in the final cut of the music video, and the TXT members couldn’t help laughing with Hueningkai as he enthusiastically did the dance.
